BUILDING INSPECTOR Full-time, permanent position, with the Fauquier County Building Inspections Department.
Salary $17,461-$26,203 per year depending upon qualifications, and excellent fringe benefits.
Performs skilled technical work involving the inspection of building construction, alterations and repairs for compliance with County and other applicable codes; investigation of building complaints; approval of final inspection certificates and advising on violation notices.
Requires education equivalent to graduation from high school and 5 years building construction trade experience. Possession of a current license as Certified Building Inspector is highly desirable.
