Asparagus and mushrooms 2 pounds fresh asparagus 6 ounces mushrooms, drained 2 tablespoons butter 3 cups white sauce 1 teaspoon chives or green onion tops 2 tablespoons pimento, finely chopped 3 hard boiled eggs, sliced Bread crumbs, buttered Preheat oven to 350. Cut asparagus in pieces. Cook until tender and place in greased lVs or 2-quart baking dish. Saute mushrooms in butter. Combine all ingredients except crumbs and pour over asparagus. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake for 20 minutes. Serves 8. 1
