Regional Choir in Manassas. David Fisher was selected to participate with Dexter Freeman and John Jenkins as alternates. Eight hundred District 9 students auditioned.
The choir is preparing selections for a Spring Concert in May, graduation and bacculaureate exercises.
The Spring Concert at the high school is scheduled for May 21 at 7:30. The RCHS band and choir will perform many popular pieces using some taped music. Fun music is the night’s theme with Mrs. Foxx playing in the band and band director Kathy Hewitt singing in the choir.
On May 28 Kathy Hewitt will conduct a Band Concert at the elementary school at 7:30. The program will consist of the high school band and the elementary school band.
Choir member Gina Fletcher and band members David Fisher and Dan Herman are looking forward to attending Va. Music Camp at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton in June. Full tuition will be paid for . through the Gifted/Talented fluid. /ill lit.' ... * * i Vi i 1. \ ■ . .Ail i
