Camille Harris volunteered to be RCES PTA liasion with the National PTA. All mailings will be received by her and important information delivered to the group.
Next year’s membership cost will be $2. The drive is scheduled for September. The first PTA meeting will be September 15. Members are hoping for a larger attendance by parents and teachers.
It was agreed that the PTA, with RAAC, will sponsor four cultural shows next year to be held at the elementary school.
On Tuesday, Oct. 6 candidates for the Board of Supervisors from each district will be asked to attend the PTA meeting. The candidates will be asked questions concerning education issues. The association will also help with the forum planned by the Rappahannock Voters Asso
