For a number of weeks recently, the Aileen plant outside Flint Hill had the good fortune to have two pairs of killdeers build their nests in the plant’s parking lot. One of the nests was found to contain four large tan eggs which were covered with many different colored blotches.
“Everyone at the plant took care of the bird and her eggs,” said Mr. Walker, a manager at the plant.
“On breaks, people would go out to be sure that they were okay,” add^d Jo Ann Currens, who works at the plant.
