1941, at Langley AFB, the Tactical Air Command Band his been recognized as a world calibre musical organization, representing the finest Air Force in the world. The TAC Band has played a major role in the musical life of the East Coast for the past forty years. To fulfill its mission, the 46 member band, under the direction of Major Lowell E. Graham, logs nearly 80,000 miles each year, entertaining more than one million people annually in over 600 performances.
This August 5th, 8 p.m. concert will include a wide variety of music by American composers plus the TAC Dixieland Band and vocal selections as well.
