Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker returned home Sunday after spending the weekend at Roanoke where they attended the Miss Virginia Pageant. Miss Virginia will lead the parade at the Flint Hill fireman’s annual carnival, July 29 through August 1.

Mrs. Irene Hamilton of High Point, N.C., returned to her home Wednesday after spending some time with her mother Mrs. Moffett Brady.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship services on July 19 at 9 a.m. The Rev. Merlin Shorb, pastor, invites the public to attend.

Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Downing Wood and Miss Mary Miller Wood attended funeral services for their cousin James Winston Kemper at Manassas on Thursday.

Mrs. James Nicholson of Luray spent a couple of days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest. Mr. Nicholson is a patient in Warren Memorial HosDital.
