To the editor:
Lou Hatter, you clown, as Bob Uecker says on the Miller commercial, “I love ya!” Leave it to you to run your April Fools’ edition on July 9 to catch us off guard!
Well, Lou, we caught you right off, one sentence into that article on the School Board appointment. It wqp a good,idea for a story — “bitter lame duck chooses ‘Sweet Revenge’' for his swan song” — but you picked the wrong man. It was not a plausible connection.
First, Newbill Miller is a bright and decent man. He would never pass over qualified candidates to appoint a novice to the position.
Second, being sensitive to the interests and concerns of his constituents, he would not just “wing it” like those despicable good-ole-boy power
