Ronald L. Pullen
Ronald Lee Pullen, 39, of Sperryville, died July 9 at Fairfax Hospital from injuries received June 18 when a truck backed over him as he checked construction on Route 28.
He was employed by the Virginia Department of Transportation as a highway inspector.
Mr. Pullen was bom May 3,1948, in Warren County, the son of Frances Sisk Pullen of Sperryville and the late James H. Pullen.
He served in the Vietnam conflict where he received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Surviving with his mother are four sisters, Dianne P. Taylor of Catlett, Joan P. Brown of Orlean, Sue T. Keyser and Peggy L. Pullen of Sperrvyille, two brothers, J. Franklin Pullen and Joseph A. .Pullen, both of Sperryville, his maternal grandmother Mrs. Gladys K. Sisk and his paternal grandmother Mrs. Virgie A. Pullen, both of Sperryville.
He was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church at Sperryville, where funeral services were conducted July 13 by Rev. William Harrison. Burial was in the Culpeper National Cemetery.
