The Johnson family reunion, a popular event held each summer for some years, attracted more than 50 on Saturday, Aug. 15, and 60 people on Sunday, Aug. 16. It was held at the Captain’s Den, the Old Hollow home of J. Robert and Stella Johnson of Luray.
Traveling the longest distance were the Caulsby family of Summit, Utah. Donnie, Sue and their four children, Aubrey, Dustin, Carly and Paige all attended.
A number of other Johnson relatives traveled quite a distance as well. John and Mary Johnson Purcell came from Fayetteville, Ga. John and Margaret Johnson and Mike and Judy Johnson Gonder made the trip from Zanesville, Ohio, for the occasion.
