She retired from the IRS in 1975 and moved to Harrisonburg in 1977. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
Besides her sister, Mrs. Ewing, she is survived by two nieces, a nephew, four great-nieces, two great-nephews, and one great-greatnephew.
A graveside service was conducted Sept. 4 at the Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery near Madison by the Rev. Dr. William Mengebier.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Unit at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
