Wakefield School in Huntly began its 15th year of operation on Wednesday, Sept. 9, with enrollment at an all-time high, three additional faculty members, and several new programs and courses of study, according to Dr. William Lynn Jr., the school’s headmaster.
He said that enrollment is 360 students, up by about 10 percent over last year, with most classes filled to capacity, “and a few overcrowded.” Despite the jump in enrollment, the numbers at Wakefield are still under the 400-student ceiling set by the school’s Board of Trustees.
