10K runs
The Westmoreland County Recreation Department announced that it will sponsor two 10-kilometer distance runs this fall.
The first, the Coca-Cola Classic 10K Run, will be held on Saturday Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Northern Neck Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Montross, Va. The second, the Colonial Beach Classic 10K Run, will be held Saturday Oct. 24, also at 10 a.m..
Trophies also will be awarded to the overall winners, top finishers in each age group, and T-shirts will be given to those who pre-register for the events. Entry fees for both races are $8 by mail before race day, $10 the day of the race
