Laurelia Hill
Lauretta C. Hitt, 90, of Warrenton, died Sept. 5 at Warsaw Health Care Center, Warsaw.
She was the widow of Johnnie Jackson Hitt.
Mrs. Hitt is survived by four sons, Thomas R. Hitt of Midland, Howard L. Hitt of Maryland, Richard T. Hitt of Amissville and Frank A. Hitt of Florida, three daughters, Helen Charles of Lignum, Peggy Eline and Hazel Butler of Warrenton, a sister Elizabeth Michael of Manassas, 42 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 16 greatgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sept. 9 at the Orlean Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Cornwell. Interment was at the Orlean cemetery.
