Ms. Bailey will speak on “The Solid Waste Crisis in Virginia” at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Her appearance is being sponsored by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection as a public service. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Ms. Bailey, who is also well acquainted with Rappahannock’s landfill crisis and the county’s application for a new landfill site east of Amissville, will answer questions from the audience following her remarks.
