To the editor:
The lottery referendum is a question of choice. Do Virginians want to play a lottery game and raise $200 million dollars for the state at the same time? The money will likely go for programs such as education, senior citizens, law enforcement, among others. Once Virginia has a lottery, it’s the choice of the individuals if they want to play.
I find it interesting that the top individual of one of the anti-lottery gm*ps makes more than a million iollar* a yaw, yat he says we shouldn’t be allowed to play a lottery. If I made a million dollars a year, I probably wouldn’t want to play the lottery either.
