A funeral service was conducted Aug. 29 at Clore Funeral Home by Rev. Douglas Fanner. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Memorial contributions may be made to the Remington Rescue Squad. Robert Freeman Robert (Sco) Freeman, 68, of Washington, died Sept. 3. Mr. Freeman was born Feb. 18, 1924, the son of the late Mattie Freeman. He was a construction worker. Survivors include seven sisters, Nancy Pointer, Margaret Copeland, Mary Fleet, Dorothy McCrey and Evelyn Manor, all of Washington, D.C., Lorraine Fletcher of Pennsylvania and Edith Jordan of Washington, two brothers, Wade H. Fletcher and Earnest Fletcher, both of Washington, two sisters-in-law, Martha Freeman of Maryland and Margaret Freeman of Washington, two brothers-in-law, David Fleet and Riley Pointer, both of Washington, D.C., and a number of nieces and nephews. Interment was at First Baptist Cemetery.
Harry Spicer Harry Bart Spicer, 61, of Culpeper, died Sept. 14 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Mr. Spicer was a retired employee of FMC and a member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. He was a native of Rappahannock County who had lived in Culpeper for many years. Survivors include his mother Willie T. Spicer of Culpeper, a brother William H. Spicer of Occoquan, and a nephew William H. Spicer Jr. of Woodbridge. His father was the late Henry B. Spicer. A graveside service was conducted Sept. 16 at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, by Rev.
