usement. Board member Bryant Lee suggested that the movable lab tables included in the specs be wired for electricity, rather than being served by extension cords run across the floor. The board members agreed that would be more economical over time, and directed Dr. Gangel to explore the cost of purchasing electrically-fitted tables.
Although he expressed concern over the time frame - the 12 lab tables will require up to 60 days to be delivered — Dr. Gangel agreed with the board’s suggestion and will inquire into changing that bid specification.
He said that he hopes that the science labs will be ready for use some time in February.
