Knowland introduced the following joint Resolution 105:
“Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, that the President of the United States is authorized and requested to designate the period beginning Sept. 17 and ending Sept. 23 of each year as Constitution Week, and to issue a proclamation inviting people of the United States to observe such week in schools, churches and other suitable places with appropriate ceremonies and activities.”
