Eva Morgan

Eva J. Morgan, 77, of Winchester, died Feb. 1 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Morgan was born March 2, 1910, in Little Washington, the daughter of the late William Judson and Julia E. Partlow Thornton. She retired as a waitress from the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. She attended the First Baptist Church and was married to the late Harry Morgan.

Surviving is one sister, Lela Electrice Thornton of Winchester.

A graveside service was held Feb. 4 at Mount Hebron Cemetery with Dr. Dallas T. Stallings Jr. officiating.

Jones Funeral Home in Winchester was in charge of the arrangements.

Margaret Nichols

Margaret Eugene Nichols, 81, of Baltimore, Md., died Feb. 2, at the Bosnsecours Hospital in Baltimore, Md.

Mrs. Nichols was bom Sept. 12, 1906 in Rappahannock County, the duaghter of the late Robert L. and Maude Jenkins Nichols. She was a retired nurse.

Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at the Nethers Mills Tabernacle Lighthouse on Feb. 6. The Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiating. Interment was in the Etlan Cemetery.

Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
