Mr. Baker was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge of Warrenton.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lois Virginia Cook Baker; four sons, Ray Baker of Strasburg, Stephen Baker of Amissville, Troy Baker of Washington and Gary Baker of Leesburg; a daughter, Janet Drone of Amissville.
Additional survivors include a brother, Lyle Baker of Sterling Park; four sisters, Frances Sanborn of Yantic, Conn., Ruth Cushman of Rosomond, Calif., Madaline Selvage of Manassas Park and Emma Pugh of Orange; five grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, with interment in the Culpeper National Cemetery. The Rev. John Burke officiated.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mukitar Derderian
Mukitar (Jim) Derderian, of Falls Church, died Jan. 30 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Tooey Atkins; one sister, Charlotte Koscian of Hartford, Conn.
Funeral services were conducted at Murphy’s Funeral Home, Falls Church, on Feb. 3 with burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
