Paul Knapp
Paul Edward Knapp, 66, died Feb. 2, at the Blue Ridge Hospital of the University of Virginia.
Mr. Knapp was a veteran of World War II, an advertising executive and an author.
He is survived by one son, Patrick Charles Knapp of Newport, R.I.; four daughters, Alison Pepper Kelly of Castleton, Meredith Vassar Moissa of Newport, R.I., Andrea VanAlstyne Davis of Charleston, R.I., and Alexis Ruth Upright of Narragansett, R.I.
Additional survivors include a half brother, Frederick Zurickle of Seattle, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 5 at the Culpeper Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Pucher officiating. Interment followed in the Culpeper National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The Culpeper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Lynwood Baker
Lynwood Russell Baker, 62. of Culpeper, a World War II veteran, died Feb. 4t at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. He was the son of Mrs. Edith Odessa Weaver Baker of Madison and the late Ellis Edward Baker. He was an employee of William A. Hazel, a building contractor in Fairfax County, for about 21 years.
