Midsummer Night’s Dream. The public is invited to stop by and lend a hand with the preparations, or just observe the company at work. “They would love it if local people would stop by Saturday afternoon,” said Ann Stephens, executive director of the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community, which made the grant request on behalf of the county.
Rappahannock is one of six localities in the state to receive “Arts on the Road” programs this year. The main criterion used in selecting communities, Mrs. Stephens said, is that they must have demonstrated enthusiasm for the arts.
