The Virginia Federation of Gar- * den Clubs will hold its Legislation Day on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Members • will tour the Governor’s Mansion, the Capitol, the General Assembly Building, and observe House or Senate proceedings.
Reservations are limited to 60 members, so if you are interested send your name, address, phone number, garden dub name and district to the State Legislative Chairman, Mrs. T. Nelson Flippo, P.O. Box 34, Doswell 23047, enclosing an addressed, stamped envelope. Your reservation will be sent as quickly as possible, she said.
The Federatioins particularly interested in the Chesapeake Bay Clean-Up Program and other conservation and environmental issues. Members are urged to let their legislators know their feelings on such issues, Mrs. Flippo added.
