1948, TOPS will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year during International Recognition Days (IRD) at the Club’s headquarters in Milwaukee, Wis.

The annual membership fee is $12. Local chapters may vary their dues. Amissville chapter charges $1 per visit, with a 25-cent penalty for each pound gained during week.

TOPS is a support group helping members adhere to their doctor-prescribed diet and weight goal.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Lyn wood Baker who died last week.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the following: David and Tracy Eisenman have returned home and are improving following a motorcycle accident. John Coppage Sr. and Bessie Wilmoth are ill. It’s good to see Mrs. Green has returned parttime to Mayhugh’s Store following her recent shoulder surgery.

The Ruritan Club will meet next Wednesday night, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church.

Johnny Miller and students of the Free Gospel Bible Institute in Export, Pa. will be ministering in song on Feb. 20 and 21 at the Amissville Full Gospel Church on Rt. 642.
