The story about the sale of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Sperryville, in the Jan. 28 Rappahannock News, contained an error. The Flint Hill Methodist Church is in fact very much alive and flourishing, not closed, as the article stated.
In last week’s story about the visit of the Soviet delegation to Rappahannock, one of the visitors, actress Elina Bystzitskaya, was identified as having starred in a 1955 film called Silent Flows the Dawn. The film was actually titled Silent Flows the Don.
