present in his office on some of these days. The care tiiat can be given is greatly limited by our size.
The health department is trying to improve services to the community in various areas, but especially in the area of maternity and wellchild care. A larger facility with individual rooms would not only improve the care we are presently giving our clients, but it would also enable us to expand our services to include more in the future. This would benefit the whole community. 1 would also like to say that with the rising cost of private health care, more and more families of various income levels are coming to us for our services.
An exhaustive search has been made for a new building throughout the Rappahannock area. The lease for our present facility expires in June. We very much need to relocate. For us to stay in this facility beyond this time would very much be against the public’s interest; but a move to the remodeled, proposed facility would be a benefit to all.
