An unexpected and unpredicted snowfall Monday morning laid a slippery blanket on the county’s roads, causing numerous fenderbenders and one serious accident.
Alice Irene Jenkins, 41, of Sperryville, is in fair condition at the University of Virginia Medical Center after she was involved in a head on collision on Route 522 between Woodyille and Scrabble.
