Parking still an issue

Though the town vetoed the Virginia Department of Transportation’s suggestion that parking be banned on both sides of Main Street between Middle Street and Blue Ridge Avenue, blind intersections and passing on narrow streets are still problems.

Mark Bailey complained that trucks parking near the former Washington Cash Store are creating a blind intersection there, where cars must pull halfway into the intersection before drivers can see if the street is clear.
