County s Democrats will meet
The county’s Democratic Committee will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse. Barbara Greco and David Crump, candidates for the house delegates from the 31st District, will attend, along with a representative of Don Beyer, candidate for lieutenant governor. Pre-school film program

Clothing sale at Wakefield
A children’s clothing sale will be held at Wakefield School on Rt. 522, Huntly on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sizes range from infant to size 12 for boys and girls.
Brand names including Buster Brown, Oops;, L’Azur and Rocking Horse will be offered at 40 percent off retail. Proceeds will benefit the senior class of Wakefield. For additional information contact Margaret Lee at 635-8111.
Tai Chi Chuan classes
A new beginners class will start March 1 for Tai Chi Chuan. Classes run from 7-8 p.m. at The Child Care and Learning Center and cost is $30 per month. Call 636-3078 to register as space is limited.
