On Saturday, September 17 at 2 p.m. Stephanie Hope Oliver exchanged wedding vows with Kenneth William Locke in the Amissville Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Oliver Jr. of Amissville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Locke of The Plains.
The Reverend Kenneth Brooks performed the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Dennis Wingfield played the wedding music and Joyce Gregg sang “The Wedding Song” and “Just You and I.”
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white floorlength satin gown with short sleeves and a V-neck front and back trimmed with lace. The bride’s bouquet consisted of satin peach and white roses, carnations and baby’s breath with ribbon and lace and arranged on top of the bible the bride’s mother carried on her wedding day.
The maid of honor was Lori Gregg of Warrenton.
Bridesmaids were Kristi Pendleton of Sperryville, Heather Stover of Front Royal and Tina Oldakowski of The Plains.
Sherry Flagg of Woodford was the junior bridesmaid.
All of the attendants wore floor length peach satin gowns. They were complemented with back bows and lace.
