NOTICE FO PUBLIC HEARING BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA
The Town of Washington, Virginia will hold a public hearing on March 8, 1989 at 8:00 o’clock p.m. in the Courtroom at the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, to solicit public input on the proposed community development block grant application to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development on the Town of Washington Waterworks Project. Residents of the project area are encouraged to attend. The draft community development block grant application will be presented for comment along with information on projected beneficiaries, number of low and moderate income residents to benefit from the project, and plans to minimize displacement. Citizens also will be given an opportunity to commnet on the Town of Washington's past uses of CDBG funds.
