Kankouran

The Kankouran West African Dance Company will be performing Saturday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. at the Warrenton Junior High School Auditorium. Tickets are $5.
The Kankouran Troupe presents an evening of traditional West African village dancing with dancers, drummers, musicians and storytellers in elegant native costume. The performance is led by Kankouran Director Assane Konte, who began his Study of dance at the age of 12 with traditional dancers in his native Senegal.
1 Tickets for Kankouran are available at the Fauquier National Bank main branch, the Liberty Savings Bank, Color Collections and at the door on the evening of the performance.
