Addison Lee Swindler Jr. of
Hanover, Pa. has been promoted to the position of Assistant Manager of the Plaza branch of the Bank of Hanover. He is the son of Mrs. Lee Swindler of Sperryville and the late Mr. Swindler. His banking career began with this bank in 1975 as a manager trainee and he assumed the duties of Mortgage Settlement Office the following month. He has held this spot until his recent promotion.
Dr. William Bloomer, superintendent of schools for Rappahannock County, announced guidelines this week for public presentations at the School Board’s first budget session, scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the elementary school library. Persons or organizations wishing to offer proposals for the 1979-80 school budget should contact the School Board office, 987-8773, prior to the meeting on February 20 in order to be placed on the agenda.

Rappahannock County High
School will offer two night classes during this semester. Both classes will last 60 hours and will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights from February 21 through May 29. To get the required 60 hours of instruction in, the class will need to meet one additional night per week during May. The two available courses are Cabinet Making and typewriting.
