The Rappahannock School Board voted to participate in the Early Retirement Program adopted by the General Assembly this year and to offer eligible employees the opportunity to sign up for the program by June 30.
At Tuesday night’s meeting the board also accepted an employee’s application for early retirement. Transportation supervisor Allie Huff, who announced his retirement earlier this year, also will be eligible for the program, Superintendent David Gangel said.
