J. Floyd Clatterbuck of Sperryville, better known as Dick, has retired after working with the Virginia Department of Highways for 41 years. He has worked out of the Washington, Va. headquarters and for the past seven years has been in charge of the prison labor force.

Garden Club will plant a pink dogwood in memory of Mrs. Hugh Chrisman at the Historical Society Building, Friday, April 10, at 2 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holschuh will plant a white dogwood at the same time in memory of their son, Steve.
Margie Menefee of the Rappahannock Chapter Future Homemakers of America was a delegate to the sixth annual Leadership Conference held April 2-4 in Richmond. She was among the 500 delegates representing 20,000 members across the state and was accompanied by her advisor, Mrs. Betty B. Wood.
