A bird study course will be given starting on Monday, April 15. The course will consist of three one-hour class sessions on Mondays from 9 a.m.-lO a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
Alternating with the classes will be three field trips of three hours each to a variety of birding habitats in Rappahannock County and nearby.
The course is designed to help with the field identification and enjoyment of Rappahannock County birds, with emphasis on field techniques for seeing birds well.
Appropriate springtime bird behavior such as pair-bonding, territory, vocalizations, and migration will be discussed.
