Did you see what the winds blew in over Amissville late Tuesday, April 2. Tim Massey, an electrical engineer from Charlottesville, hangglided from Woodstock to Amiss ville in about two hours. His highest altitude was about 7,500 feet! He was trying to break the state record. Tim landed near Lom-Bar-Dy Restaurant. The locals enjoyed talking with him at Hackley’s Store and welcomed him back anytime.
Happy birthday to Aubrey Bums who celebrated her third birthday last Thursday.
With Monday’s temperatures in the upper 80’s, it seems we went from winter to summer. Hope you have your garden started.
