FROM RAINDROPS
TO RAINBOWS As the rumbling thunder becomes more distant, an April breeze chases away dark clouds, allowing the sun to light up the sky once more. Yet, even as the sun shines, a fine mist of rain continues to fall. Then, magically, the reflection of the sun upon the rain transforms each drop into a prism of color. As if painted by the Master’s hand, storm clouds are replaced by a rainbow. There is an old cliche which tells us that “into each life some rain must fall.” Yet the radiance of God's merciful love allows us to change the rain into rainbows, brightly colored by faith, hope and trust in Him who made us. 1 John:5 assures us that “. . . God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” Let the light of God's love deliver you from darkness into the light as you worship Him in His house this week.
