He said the county is getting fewer inquiries about spraying this year than last year.
The county’s only effort to comat the moths this year consists of offering county residents a list of companies that will do contract spraying for private landowners.
“The county makes no recommendations in favor of any of these firms, nor is their presence on the list intended as a license to conduct spraying activities, or a judgment as to their experience, technical qualifications, or fee structure,” according to the county’s document listing them.
