Following are the school bus routes for the coming academic year at Rappahannock Public Schools.
Students are urged to be at their stops at least 15 minutes early the first day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Additions and deletions to last year’s routes are listed in italics.
Address bus route questions to Robert Chappell, assistant superintendent transportation director, at 987-8773. Overcrowding or safety concerns may necessitate further route changes.
Bus 1 - Mary Bailey, driver. Viewtown area. Start at approximately 7:20 on Rt. 640 about 1/2 mile from county line; (New) right on Rt. 6±2; right on 646 about 1/2 mile to turnaround; right on Rt. 642 and (New) pickup all of Rt. 6U2 up to Rt. 611; right on Rt. 611 about 3/4 mile to turnaround; left on Rt. 642; right on Rt. 611; left on Rt. 648 about 1/4 mile to turnaround; left on 611 and pickup up to U.S. 211.
