“In the recent article on Mrs. Mary Payne retiring from Rappahannock National Bank, it was not mentioned that she is the former Mary Miller Latham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Latham Sr. of Amissville. Her father for many years was on the county Board of Supervisors.
“The Paynes live on the farm and in the house constructed by her grandfather, Peyton Anderson.”
