‘Blue,’ a blue tick hound male, is about 2Vi years old and was picked up by Animal Control in Woodville Aug. 2. He was hit by a car, then taken to the vet for treatment of a back injury. The vet said he will be fine in a month or so. Blue and many other adoptable dogs are available at the Rappahannock Animal Shelter in Amissville. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m.3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The lost animal registry can be found in the Classified Section of the Rappahannock News.
