Susie Mills

Susie Egora Mills, 92, of Huntly, died Monday, Aug. 26 in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.

The funeral will be conducted today, Thursday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church in Huntly by the Rev. Marvin C. Cook. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Mills was bom Oct. 30, 1898, at Reager, the daughter of the late James Franklin and Alberta Edwyna Willis Williams. She was a member of the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church where she was the oldest living member. She joined the church in 1927. She was the wife of the late Joseph Wilbur Mills.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Mills of Alexandria and George Osbourne Mills of Culpeper; a daughter, Eleanor Gieselman of Vernon Hill; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mattie Weaver Honts, 90, of Asheville, N.C., formerly of Front Royal, died Saturday, Aug. 24 in the Western North Carolina Baptist Retirement Home in Asheville.
