Williams of Front Royal were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1 with communion. The pastor Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson attended an open house on Saturday to honor Mr. Hickerson’s uncle Mr. Eld Hickerson in Harmony Hollow. Mr. Hickerson was celebrating his 90th birthday.

M.H. and Mary Brady joined Mrs. Moffett Brady and her houseguest, her daughter Mrs. Irene Hamilton for dinner on Sunday.

Jenny and Chucky Presgraves are now living in Flint Hill. They are renting Mrs. W.A. Moore’s house. Welcome back to the community.

Mr. and Mrs. James Garwood of Middleburg and Mrs. Garland Sealock were last Wednesday visitors of Mrs. Arland Welch at her home “Mountain View.” On Friday Dale Welch, Arland Welch and Garland Sealock visited the Garwood’s at Middleburg.

Mrs. Linda Peirpoint of Alexandria and Mrs. Shirley Wade of Chantilly spent Saturday and Sunday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard.

Mr. and Mrs. Dabney Eastham visited Mr. Arthur Smoot on Sunday. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. James Bywaters and Jimmy.
