Venus Jones plays rock 'n' roll
Rappahannock's own Venus Jones will perform at a Washington Fire Department benefit dance at the Fire Hall, 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31.
The price of admission has been dropped to $5. Those 21 and older may bring alcohol inside the building.
A portion of the proceeds benefit the volunteer fire department.
