Drug Awareness Education for the youth in Rappahannock is our first line of defense against the growing problems of substance abuse. By bringing programs to our schools, churches and other organizations, it is Mr. Cordani's belief that citizens working together with a concerned Sheriffs office can wage a concerted effort against this problem. "Operation Identification" is a voluntary program in which young children are fingerprinted so that identification records are on file to aid law enforcement in locating missing youth in the unfortunate event that such information is needed. It is Mr. Cordani's plan to update the files yearly, so that children who have not been fingerprinted previously can be added to the program.
