For Rappahannock that comes to $6 per person, compared to $33 in Culpeper, $15 in Fauquier, $18 in Madison, $13 in Page and $19 in Warren. The state average is $21.
As might be expected, Rappahannock comes in last in the area in the amount per person from the local sales tax. This brings in $23 in Rappahannock, compared to $65 in Culpeper, $58 in Fauquier, $30 in Madison, $39 in Page, and $45 in Warren. The state average is $64.
