Tim Mahoney, age 16, and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mahoney, hosted Akihiro Kawahara, also age 16, this summer. Yoshimasa Otsuka, age 13, visited Mark Jenkins, age 13, and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Pete Jenkins. Akihiro and Yoshimasa, Japanese students, arrived on July 26 and stayed until Aug. 21. They were part of a 39member 4-H L ABO exchange group visiting 4H families throughout Virginia for four weeks.
