Mr. Lewis encouraged his friends and neighbors in Rappahannock to visit the gallery — and his sihow. “We like to promote the fact that the gallery is for the public,” and not some private club where members only are allowed.
Mr. Lewis’s opening reception at the gallery, with refreshments (and the artist in attendance), will be held from 4 p.m.-7p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1.
The normal gallery hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.
